November meeting…

Thank you Shared Space and Light for such a stunning instalation! If anyone missed it last night, the technologicaly brilliant and fabulously moving projection will be shown again this evening 7.30 – 10pm

Unveiling Our Tower of Dreams!

The Brighton White Night Festival starts proper on Saturday, but the Tower of Dreams will be running at the Pepperpot this evening as well.  We hope you will be able to join us and celebrate the unveiling of the revamped Tower in this spectacular way.

The event will run Friday (tonight) and Saturday (tommorow) from 7.30 – 10pm. Tonight the Friends of the Pepperpot will be providing refreshments and information from St Lukes Church Hall  (Opposite the Tower on Queens Park Road) throughout  the evening – do drop in and let us know what you think.

Almost done…

The scaffolding has started to come down… most excited about the fourth (top) floor – the windows were bricked up at the start of WWII when the Tower was used as a base for air raid wardens. The view over Brighton from here has not been observed for over 70 years! Can’t wait.

General Restoration and Improvements

It’s not just the Tower, but also this website which is having the builders in… a few changes in style and content including this new blog feature to help keep more up to date. There will soon be plenty to report on, with the scaffolding coming down mid October, the Shared Space and Light Projection event at the end of the month and lots of talk amongst the Friends group of big fundraising opportunities…. never a better time to join in and help turn the Pepperpot Tower into a ……… (suggestions please)….
